Management Accountant
A vacancy has arisen within my client’s Commercial team for a one year fixed term contract. The main responsibilities will include preparation of reporting and analysis for an allocated business sector. Candidates must be Part-Qualified or Qualified By Experience.
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations, including collection of sales and cost information from our sites and supplier to upload into our accounting system.
• Calculation of depreciation & disposals.
• Weekly production of reports, both weekly & trended positions showing various stats to be reviewed by the management team
• Reconciliation of site banking to the sales information collected and investigating difference
• Providing support to the Commercial Analyst with the preparation of ad-hoc financial analysis, as required.
• Providing ad hoc financial information to the Management as well as helping to deal with Fraud issues.
Essential Skills / Experience:
• Advanced Excel skills (including Macros)
• Attention to detail and a dedication to task completion
• Ability to multi-task & work under pressure to achieve deadlines
• Able to use initiative to implement change to business processes
