How long are jobs advertised?
Jobs are posted for four weeks then deleted. Posting jobs for 28 days helps to ensure the job board remains fresh and that only live vacancies are displayed.

How often is the job board updated?
The job board operates in real time and is updated continuously. An agent or employer can post a job at any time and the board will instantly be updated.

Do I need an account to search for a job?
No. You can search for jobs without a user account. However, if you want to apply for a job via JustAccountancyJobs, you must have a valid user account.

How do I register or sign up?
You do not have to sign up to browse the jobs on JustAccountancyJobs. An account is required, however, to apply for jobs, submit your curriculum vitae, and create job alerts. If you want to create a JustAccountancyJobs account, click on Jobseekers “Registration” button on the home page.

What is a login/Email?
Your login/Email is the valid e-mail address that you used when you created your JustAccountancyJobs account.

Why must I provide an e-mail address?
An e-mail address is required so you may be contacted when you apply for jobs and when you receive hits from job alerts. Your e-mail address is also your username when you create your JustAccountancyJobs account.

What if I do not have an e-mail address?
If you do not have an e-mail address, you can still browse our database for career opportunities.

How should I select a password?
Select a password that you will easily remember. Your password must be six to fifteen characters long and may include numbers but no wild characters.

I forgot my password. What do I do?
On the home page, click on the Password Reminder button. Enter your e-mail address and click on the submit button. JustAccountancyJobs will e-mail you your password in minutes.

I've changed my e-mail address. What do I do?
If you've changed your e-mail address, you must login with your current JustAccountancyJobs email address and edit your account information with your new email address.

How will I be notified about job openings that I am qualified for?
When you create a job alert, JustAccountancyJobs automatically notifies you when an Agency or Employer posts a job that matches your criteria.

What is a job alert? How does it work?
A job alert is a tool that automatically notifies you by e-mail of available jobs that match your saved job search criteria.

Will I be able to update my Account or curriculum vitae at any time?
Yes. You are able to access your account 24 hours a day. You can update or delete your stored information and curriculum vitae at any time.

Can I post more than one curriculum vitae?
Yes. You can post a maximum of one searchable curriculum vitae per account, but you are allowed to store up to four documents and one graphics file under your account which can be submitted to potential employers. This allows the jobseeker to store versions of your curriculum vitae which emphasises different skills or abilities that maybe more appropriate to submit to a particular type of job posting.

How long does my curriculum vitae remain on justaccountancyjobs?
You can delete your curriculum vitae and/or account at any time by clicking on the Delete curriculum vitae button in your Jobseeker administration "Profile uploads" area. Your curriculum vitae is also automatically deleted when your account is deactivated by JustAccountancyJobs.

What if I fail to access my account within six months?
Accounts that have been inactive for a period of six months will be removed from the database. If you would like to remain in the database, you must login to your account at least once every six months from account activation. E-mail notification will be sent to you prior to deletion, giving you the option to access your account and maintain active status.

Will an employer ever see my curriculum vitae?
When setting up your account you can decide if you want to save a copy of your CV in your profile. If you do you can also decide to opt-out of sharing so that the CV is not available for employers or agents to access or view. The only time an employer would ever see your curriculum vitae, is if you apply to an employer's job with an attached CV.

Who can I call with a question about a job?
Each job posting contains a general or individual phone number or e-mail address of a contact. You may contact that person with any questions about the job posting.

How do I apply for a position if I do not have curriculum vitae?
Any registered user can upload curriculum vitae to your account at any time once logged in. Each position advertised will contain contact information for the employer or agent who posted the position.

Does justaccountancyjobs only offer Permanent positions?
No. JustAccountancyJobs also offers temporary, contract and part-time positions.

Are entry-level opportunities posted on justaccountancyjobs?
JustAccountancyJobs offers job postings for all levels of finance employment.

Does justaccountancyjobs offer jobs overseas?
JustAccountancyJobs primarily lists opportunities in England, Scotland and Wales only at this time. Some job posting from employers may include travel abroad as required.
